The instructions given by the government to ensure promptness and punctuality has been a welcome factor to give panacea to the general public. There were times when the people seeking for services at different government offices faced a great deal of inconvenience. Those coming from far away to the capital city to get their work done had to run from pillar to post. Even the major offices used to be without service providers even until late afternoon. This pathetic situation seems to have undergone a sea change after the government instructed its employees to deliver prompt services. One query, which could haunt the minds of every citizen, is will the employees keep up the spirit even after the emergency is over. The government must ensure that the positive change that has come about will be continued in the years ahead. Praveen Kafle |
