I read the news published in the Rising Nepal dated 18th December, 2001 on the Revival of Rajkulo, presented by me and organised by the Lalitpur Heritage Group on 16th December 2001 at Patan Museum. I am very surprised to see the news in which you have mentioned, "Lalitpur Heritage Conservation Group (LHCG) and Urban Development Through Local Efforts (UDLE), an INGO, would jointly handle the project to renovate the Rajkulo", which is not true. Lalitpur Conservation Heritage Group is a Social Organisation, which wanted to promote the issue of Rajkulo being studied by udle and raise funds for its rehabilitation individually. The presentation was made with the this objective. Therefore, I request you to kindly and urgently correct the news, which gives wrong impression. Prayag Joshi |
