Bhaktapur (RSS): The Bhaktapur Football Training Centre organised a welcome programme in honour of senior German football coach Holger Obermann at the Bhaktapur college ground here Monday. An exhibition match of men’s and women’s footballers undergoing training at the centre was also organised on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Obermann said Nepal could become successful in football if football training programmes are organised at the junior level. Football coach Obermann also presented footballs and financial assistance to the training centre. Senior football coach of Nepal Dhan Bahadur Basnet, convenor of the training centre and other speakers also expressed their views. |
