It’s Never Too Late For Peace

Despite receiving blows after blow from the security forces, the Maoist terrorists have not realised their mistakes that their violent activities are beneficial to none, not even for themselves let alone the country and the countrymen. The rebel fighters seem to have been put off guard by the security personnel. The most surprising thing is that they have not learnt a lesson from the military operation and are continuing with what appears to be a suicide strategy. They have repeatedly instigated the army to take action against them. What is this if not suicide attempts? What the terrorists term as their strength is gradually turning out to be their greatest folly. In fact, their morale and strength have already been destroyed. Perhaps it is their hollow bravery to fight a losing battle. There are reports that they have started looking to the international community, especially those nations which they earlier considered as their enemies, for the resolution of the insurgency which they began some six years ago. This reflects their defeated mentality. This shows their double standard. There is no need of foreigners to solve our internal problem. If the Maoists surrender and agree to resume the peace talks, solution is imminent.
