Rising Theft

It seems the incidents of theft are on the rise these days in the capital. Recently two thefts within two days occurred in my locality. In one of the incident a new motorcycle was stolen by smashing the lock of the iron grille and in the other a retailer’s shop was broken into. With these two thefts that occurred within an area of 100 meters, the residents as well as the local shopkeepers are living constant fear of theft. Moreover, the incidents took place at such a residential area that is often under the regular police patrol. This means the thieves are also living in the same areas and involve in such a crime when the policemen are away.

I hope the local police office (New Baneshwore) will be more serious about the problems of the local people and leave no stone unturned to arrest the thieves.
