Some time ago, one of our office boys lost two envelopes containing extremely important documents. This loss was only discovered the next day. As luck would have it, the same day, our telephone numbers were changed. An office assistant of ARAMEX COURIERS, Putalisadak, found the two envelopes at Putalisadak and handed them over to his office. The Customer Service Officer tried in vain to contact us over the phone without realising our numbers had changed. Unable to get through, he took the trouble to send us an e-mail (our address was on the envelope) informing us that the two letters were with them. It is a matter of pride to note there are companies like ARAMEX COURIERS who instil in their employees a sense of responsibility and honesty. The letters could have been torn and thrown away but that was not the case here. Thanks to them we have been saved a lot of trouble, paperwork and time. As food for thought, shouldnt there be a Public Award with nominations for the recepients to come from general public with first hand experiences. The would help immensely in the growth of goodwill. Through this column we would like to express our gratitude to the concerned couriers. Ravin Lama |
