To Our Beloved King t he tragic massacre of the Royal Family, which included Late King Birendra is a great loss to the country. The cruel tragedy that has befallen upon us has stumped every Nepali citizen in and outside the country. Indeed it is an irretrievable loss. The late king was held in high esteem by everyone and was extremely popular in the mass. He was soft-spoken, far-sighted, constructive and knowledgeable. His words and actions reflected his concern and care for the people and country. At this hour of national mourning, every Nepali should pay rich tribute from the core of his or her heart to the King who meant so much to us. Never before has a King been so much adored and loved by the people. More importantly, we are also obligated to fulfill his dreams and maintain his legacy. He shall be greatly missed. May his soul rest in peace! Sushil
