HM congratulated, speedy recovery of Queen wished BY A STAFF REPORTER Kathmandu, June 10: Dillibazar Kanya Campus today extended congratulations to His Majesty King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev on His accession to the throne and wished for His Majestys long and successful reign. "The Campus family extends congratulation to His Majesty King on the occasion of His accession to the throne and wishes for a long and glorious reign," a press release issued by the Campus said. The Campus also condoled the untimely demise of His Late Majesty King Birendra, Her Late Majesty Queen Aishwarya, His Late Majesty King Dipendra, Prince Nirajan, Princess Shruti and other Royal Family members. "The Campus family has been deeply bereaved by the unthinkable and tragic incident that claimed the lives of the King, Queen, Prince Nirajan, Princess Shruti and other Royals," the press release said. "Let the departed souls be in eternal peace." The condolence meeting attended by Campus board members, teachers and students observed one minutes silence. Similarly, Nepal Council of World Affairs and Pakanajol Neighborhood Reform Committee have also extended congratulations to His Majesty King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev on his accession to the throne. They have also condoled the untimely death of His Late Majesty King Birendra, Her Late Majesty Queen Aishwarya, His Late Majesty King Dipendra, Prince Nirajan, Princess Shruti and other Royal Family members. Nepal Association of Travel Agents and Arunima Higher Secondary School too have condoled the Royal deaths. Likewise, Golchha Organisation condoled the demise of His Late Majesty King Dipendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. It organised a condolence meeting Wednesday. Meanwhile RSS adds: On the occasion of His Majesty King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Devs Accession to the Throne of the Kingdom of Nepal, the recent emergency meeting of Kathmandu District Development Committee has extended best wishes to His Majesty and wished for His Majestys good governance. A resolution passed by the meeting states that the DDC has been deeply grieved by the sudden and untimely passing away of the symbol of national unity His Majesty King Birendra, Her Majesty Queen Aishwarya, His Majesty King Dipendra, HRH Prince Nirajan, HRH Princess Sruti and other members of the Royal Family. The meeting observed one minutes silence for eternal peace to the departed souls of the members of the Royal family and wished for speedy recovery of Her Majesty Queen Komal Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah and other members of the Royal family undergoing treatment at the Birendra Military Hospital. Likewise, on the occasion of His Majesty King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Devs Accession to the Throne of the Kingdom of Nepal, various institutions have extended hearty congratulations to His Majesty and wished for His Majestys long life, good health and success in governance. In Hetauda, Nepali Congress Makwanpur district committee in a special meeting held Saturday passed a proposal extending heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev on His Accession to the Throne of Nepal. The meeting also prayed to almighty god for the speedy recovery of Her Majesty Queen Komal Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah and other members of the Royal family. Likewise, the meeting extended glowing tributes to Their late Majesties, His Majesty King Dipendra, HRH Prince Nirajan and HRH Princess Sruti, and other members of the Royal family who died in the incident that took place at the Royal Palace on June 1. Meanwhile, a meeting of Nepal Mahila Sirjana Samuha has extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev and wished for speedy recovery of Her Majesty Queen Komal Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah. In Nepalgunj, a meeting of Nepal-India Joint Journalists Forum held at Nanapara in Bahariech district of India Saturday extended heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev on His Accession to the Throne of the Kingdom of Nepal. The meeting chaired by the forums convenor for Indian journalists Binaya Sri Vastava also expressed profound sorrow over the untimely death of His Majesty King Birendra, Her Majesty Queen Aishwarya, His Majesty King Dipendra and other members of the Royal family and observed a two-minute silence praying for eternal peace to the departed souls. Likewise, the meeting also wished for speedy recovery of the members of the Royal family and royal relatives injured in the incident that took place at the Royal Palace. A demand was also made by the meeting that His Majestys Government immediately release editor of Kantipur Daily Yubaraj Ghimire, Managing Director Kailash Sirohiya and Director Binodraj Gyawali. Speaking on the occasion, deputy magistrate of Bahariech district of India and police chief of Narapara Rajesh Kumar Saxsena said Nepal and India have been enjoying a very deep and cordial relations and that Indian people have also been grieved by incident that took place in Nepal. Convenor of Nepalese journalists at the forum Purnalal Chuke expressed gratitude to India for the respect shown by India towards the Nepalese monarchy and sympathy expressed to the people of Nepal, and declaration of a three-day national mourning in the country.
