Skill oriented training vital Bhadrapur, Mar. 7 (RSS): Minister of State for Agriculture and Cooperatives Narendra Bikram Nemwang has said that skills-oriented training play an important role in producing manpower necessary for the country. Mr Nemwang made this remark while declaring open the weeklong marketing and sales training organised by the Mechi Chamber of Industry and Commerce with the cooperation of the small and medium enterprise development project here recently. Stating that the participation of the private sector is necessary even though various efforts are being made by His Majestys Government to enhance the efficiency of the workers, Mr Nemwang urged the trainees to make maximum utilization of the knowledge gained from the training. At the inaugural chaired by president of Mechi Chamber of Industry and Commerce Narendra Khadka, Mayor of Mechi Municipality Robin Koirala, training instructor Mohan Kumar Khadka, transport entrepreneur Sriprasad Mainali and others also expressed their views. The training programme is being participated in by 40 businessmen. Minister of State for Agriculture and Cooperatives Nemwang has stressed the need to launch an extensive campaign to generate cooperative awareness among the people. Inaugurating the three-day cooperative camp organised by the District Cooperative Office at Kankerbhitta here recently, Mr Nemwang said that cooperative institutions should work to achieve the objectives of the cooperative movement and not only to make profit. Minister of State Nemwang also declared open the edible oil and spice mill set up by the Mahendradwar Cooperative at a cost of Rs 106,000.
