Bring Everyone Under Law

When the government decided to open the new gate to enter the Singh Durbar premises, it became a great nuisance to many. While entering into the premises that houses most of the ministries and many other government offices, the people find it very difficult to take a long walk to reach the south gate opened recently for common citizens seeking to enter into the Singh Durbar. A few days back when I tried to enter the Durbar on an errand at one of the ministries, I was unreasonably stopped on the way despite my having the so-called pass. My request fell into the deaf ears of the attending policemen at the main gate. But, as I was still requesting the police personnel by explainging the urgency of my job there, a minister vehicle, of course without any of the governmetn officials in it, but loaded with rustic looking people entered the gate without being checked. Is this justice in a democratic country where leaders do not tire out giving lectures on freedom and equality? If a law is made, it should be equally applicable to all regardless of class and position.
