Nepal to take part in trade fair in New Delhi

Kathmandu (RSS): Nepal is to take part in the India International Trade Fair to be held in New Delhi, the capital of India from Nov 14 to 27.

Daily consumable goods and handicraft will be on display at the fair regarded one of the biggest trade fair of Asia.

Nepal has been taking part in the fair since the past 20 years under the convenorship of the Trade Promotion Centre.

Tilicho Handicraft, Sana Hastakal, Yeti Wood Craft Industries and Himalayan Bamboo Pvt. Ltd. have been selected to represent Nepal in the fair, according to the centre.


Beehives given to farmers

Dhading (RSS): Under the Poverty Alleviation Programme, beehives and other instruments were distributed to the 10 farmers from Praja Community from among the 20 farmers associated with Lali Guran bee-keeping in Jogi Mara VDC.

The remaining 10 farmers will be provided with bee-hives and other instruments at the subsidised rate on behalf of Agricultural Development Office and Jogi Mara VDC with a view to assisting the poor community to give an alternative for generating extra income.

According to agriculture development office Sri Narayan Sharma, the programme will be given continuity in the days ahead.
