ADB recovers loans of Rs. 1.22 million in Biratnagar

Biratnagar (RSS): The Biratnagar main branch of Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) is reported to have invested Rs. 109.360 million and recovered loans amounting to Rs. 91.225 million within the fiscal year 2057/58.

According to chief of the Biratnagar ADB main branch office Krishna Gautam, the bank recovered interest amounting to Rs. 47.728 million from its loan investment while Rs. 253 million is still under investment.

The bank invested Rs. 4996,000 for foodgrain crops, Rs. 69945,000 for cash crops, Rs. 25.217 million for marketting, Rs. 6.711 million for agricultural tools and implements, Rs. 1.34 million for irrigation and Rs. 320,000 for gobar gas plants, Rs. 23.26 million for cottage industries, Rs. 16.094 million for godowns and cold storage and Rs. 28. 417 million for agricultural vocation.
