NRBs role vital in development of country Kathmandu (RSS): Governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Dr. Tilak Rawal has said that NRB has made significant contributions in the development of trade, agriculture and the industrial sector as well as in the economic consolidation of the country. At a programme hosted here today on the occasion of the 65th anniversary 0f Nepal Bank Limited (NBL), governor Dr. Rawal said that if the banks made cautious investments and gave preference to loan recovery, their effectiveness would increase. On the occasion, Dirgha Seva Medals were conferred on employees completing 25 years of service at the bank. NBL General Manager Bhavanath Upadhyaya and a host of other speakers also expressed their views at the programme chaired by chairman of the banks board of directors Shambhu Sharan Kayastha. |
