Return arms for talks, Khadka tells Maoists BY OUR CORRESPONDENT Syangja, Nov. 26: Home Minister Khum Bahadur Khaka said that the government would consolidate and mobilise all its security apparatus to protect the life and property of the people. "Talks could resume only after the Maoists return back the arms and ammunition looted from the army barrack and police and shun the path of violence," added Minister Khadka. He had visited the various government and private financial installations damaged by the Maoists on Friday night. Khadka also expressed commitment that the government would expedite the development activities for the well being of the people. Chief District Officer Janardan Nepal and police official Sabendra Khanal apprised the Minister about security arrangement in the district and the damages caused by the Maoists attack.
