Promote Nepal, KC told Nepalese living in Japan

Kathmandu, Oct. 2: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Bal Bahadur KC said that all the Nepalese living in Japan have to promote Nepal as the birth place of Lord Buddha and the land of Mt. Everest and a country of rich cultural heritage.

Minister KC expressed the view while addressing a reception function organised by Nepal Association Kansai-Japan in Osaka on September 30, according to a press release issued here today by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

The Nepalese living in Japan said that they would try their level best to extend support to Nepal. The function was chaired by D. M. Hirachan, President of Nepal Association Kansai-Japan.

Meanwhile, Minister KC inspected the Osaka-based office of Royal Nepal Airlines Corporation (RNAC) yesterday and instructed the employees of the airline to provide services to the passengers efficiently.

He was there to participate in the General Assembly of World Tourism Organisation (WTO).
