1321 industries in Kailali

Dhangadhi (RSS):The registration of nine hundred and fifty five industries that failed to renew the permission by Kartik 2057 have been cancelled in Kailali district.

According to the Cottage and Small Industries office Kailali, out of the 2,276 industries registered, only 1,321 have retained the permission.

Out of those registered, only 40 per cent are properly operating.

The reasons for this is lack of competence with other industries, poor management and being based on foreign raw materials.

In view of the interest of the industrialists, a one-door committee has been constituted in Kailali, industry officer Tika Prasad Bhandari informed.

New kind of indsutries including film production and travel industry has also been established last fiscal year.

A preliminary environmental inquiry committee has also been constituted to provide services to industrialists here without visiting the centre.
