Kathmandu (RSS):Chairman of the Rajparishad Standing Committee Dr. Keshar Jung Rayamajhi declared open a three-day educational and industrial exhibition organised by the Balaju Technical Training Centre here on Sunday. The exhibition features glimpses of various trainings conducted by the centre, new technological innovation models, industrial and household goods produced by the trainees and other activities of the traning institute. The exhibition aims at promoting greater awareness among the general people on different aspects of technology and technical know-how. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rayamajhi said that since technical education is expensive in itself, it needs to be promoted and expanded through the input of big investments on an institutionalised basis. He pointed out the need for creating opportunities for the large section of the unemployed population by providing them technical education and training. |
