Land Reform Plan A Positive Move The newly introduced land reform programme is indeed a most intelligent move to re-distribute the agriculture land of the country to the landless regardless of caste, creed, sex and party orientation. The new caps on the land ownership in Nepal where over seventy percent of the total population is occupied in the agriculture will increase the productivity especially in Tarai. A party or an individual cannot afford to oppose this step for a radical change. Everybody who is conscious about the present situation of poverty and economy in Nepal, one of the worlds least developed nations, will support this scheme that is expected to end the land ownership problem. However, those who suffer from this plan should be given incentives. If individuals do not get incentives, the country will lack in skilled human resources and consequently there will be brain drain of the skilled labour in this time where global opportunity is at hand.
