Life Insurance Corp (Nepal) to operate soon BY A STAFF REPORTER Kathmandu, Sept 3: Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) Limited, a joint venture of Life Insurance Corporation of India and Vishal Group Limited of Nepal, has been licensed to transact life insurance business in the Kingdom of Nepal. LIC (Nepal) will be the seventeenth company in the insurance sector of Nepal, a press release said today. Corporate office and branch office of the company has been set up at the Kathmandu Plaza in Kamaladi, Kathmandu. The formal opening of the company is supposed to take place soon. Mr. Bikas Chandra Bose has recently joined as the Managing Director of LIC (Nepal) Limited. Couple of months back Mr. Kamalji Sahay took over as the General Manager of the Company. |
