13 men, 7 women athletes selected for 9th SAF Games BY A STAFF REPORTER Kathmandu September 3: Nepal Athletics Association has selected athletes for the 9th SAF Games to be held in Pakistan from October this year. According to selection committee coordinator coach Narayan Yadav, 13 men and 7 women athletes have made into the final list of athletic players bound for Islamabad after three days of selection games held at Dashrath Stadium from August 29-31. The names of selected players are: Men: 1.Ram Krishna Chaudhary-100m 2.lila shrestha-200m 3. Asharam Chaudhary-400m 4.Hut Bahadur Chhettri-800m 5.Puran Singh Dhami-1500-m 6. Narayan Chand-5000m. 7. Yam Bahadur Pudasaini-marathon 8.Arjun Basnet-marathon 9.Sitaram Chaudhary-triple jump 10. Khursheed Ahmad Khan- javelin 11. Rajendra Bhandari- Steeple Chase 12. Devi Bahadur Banset-4x400m relay 13. Prem Bahadur Mahat-4x400m relay. Women: 1. Devi Maya Paneru-100m 2.Bina Shrestha-200m 3.Sabitri Nepali-400m 4.Kancchi Maya Koju-1500m 5.Samigya Shakya-4x100m relay 6.Chandrakala Thapa-4x100m relay 7.
