Talks should peacefully solve Maoist problem Biratnagar, Sept 11 (RSS): On the occasion of the 88th B. P. Jayanti, member of the Nepali Congress central committee and former minister Bimalendra Nidhi felicitated eight freedom fighters of Sunsari and Morang districts by wrapping shawls a round them at a function organised by the B. P. Chintan Pratisthan here on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion Nidhi said that talks going on between the government and the Maoists should find a speedy peaceful solution to the Maoist problem. The people are bewildered by the struggle being launched by the Maoists by killing the people, Nidhi sais, adding that a just system cannot be created in favour of the people through the armed movement launched by the Maoists. Former vice chairman of the National Assembly Chiranjibi Prasad Rijal said that the people themselves would punish those taking steps against the democracy attained through great sacrifices of the people. Member of the B. P. Chintan Pratisthan Ananda Acharya made an analysis of the political situation in the country after restoration of democracy. At the function chaired by president of the B. P. Chintan Pratisthan Rameswore Bahadur Shrestha, former MP Indrahang Limbu, Bhisma Kafle, president of Sunsari district Nepal Womens Association Mina Subba, Mahesh Palikhe and others also expressed their views. Freedom fighters Chirajibi Prasad Rijal, Ganauri Sardar, Haji Abdul Sattar, Krishna Prasad Acharya, Rudra Man Shrestha, Durga Devi Thakuri, Shanker Prasad Shrestha and Rahman Ansari were felicitated on the occasion.
