OUR attention has been drawn to a widely circulated news through the press media that Foundation for Moral Development Approach (FMDA) from Bangladesh has launched a very timely "Global moral development programme as a unique package-deal approach to curb and combat the following crucial and fatal human problems today, corruption, bribery, poverty, rape, AIDS/HIV, human rights violation environment pollution, oppression and repression on women and children, terrorism, killings, drug abuses, smoking, etc. which, in fact, are the genuine products of severe moral degradation all over the world. In this context, the FMDA has very rightly identified immorality as the number one enemy/problem of the mankind as it is the root of all the crimes directly responsible for all the above mentioned human problems today and hence, on all-out global moral development programme is the main solution to all these human crises together. Now all the above mentioned human problems, due to intolerable moral degradation, have become globalised. So, to address these fatal global human crises the world body the United Nations should came forward. In this regard, the FMDA has already initiated a detail proposal to the United Nations for global moral development. Thus under the present tense and suffocative situation of the world people, we appeal to all the international institutions viz. the United Nations, World Bank, IMF, ADB, Commonwealth, Transparency International (TI), YMCA, YWCA, OIC, World Hindu Council (WHP), World Buddhists Council, OAU, SAARC, ASEAN, Atheists, etc. to come forward to implement this universally benevolent moral development programme of the FMDA to save the mankind from its ruination due to immoral human behaviour and activities. We, further, appeal to the world people to launch a vigorous social movement everywhere on the globe in favour of the noble moral development programme of the FMDA in the greater welfare of human beings of all times.
