Immediate Action Needed

Last week America was succumbed to evil human forces, which will undoubtedly be recorded as the worst terrorist attacks in history. The attacks on the WTC in NYC and Pentagon in Washington DC have claimed more than 5000 lives and the toll is rising by the hour. Within hours of the attacks, President Bush vowed to hunt down the perpetrators and declared war on all countries harboring terrorism. Ever since a fear of uncertainty has gripped the entire world and people are expecting retaliation until the enemy is smoked out of its hole. Like the rest, I fully condemn the attacks and join the world in grieving for the bereaved families.

Every cloud has a silver lining. Through the tears of grief I see rays of hope. America has been attacked, that too on its own soil, a fact people would have never believed before Sept. 11, 2001. Disaster at daytime in downtown calls for immediate action. The malady threatening the world peace must be eradicated. I expect immediate actions that would weed out this most dangerous sect.
