I am surprised to read your article dated April 10 on Nepalese consultants advising young Nepalese how to get a visa to go to western countries for further studies? You have named some educational establishments in London run by some smart Nepalese, who I believe help prospective Nepalese students get a visa to come to study in Britain. Are these establishment recognised by the UK educational authority? I am in favour of the Nepalese youngsters going abroad to learn new skills because once they gain such knowledge they will be able to use it either in the country where it is obtained or back in Nepal. Are these courses any use to the people who are obtaining it or to the country for that matter? I believe these so-called consultants are making life difficult for genuine students who will be going abroad to study a popular course in a recognised educational establishment. Is the government not thinking of regulating the consultancy business? The system as it is now may contribute to the loss a lot of hard-earned money of the Nepalese people. Narendra Khadka
