TRN: A Black And White Amidst Colour Dailies I am a regular reader of The Rising Nepal and other publications of Gorkhapatra Sansthan. I believe The Rising Nepal and the Gorkhapatra publish the most authentic and reliable news items. Many other readers also think so. Every morning when I go to buy The Rising Nepal and Gorkhapatra in a local shop, I always become sad to see only the two dailies in black and white amidst other colourful dailies. I dont know why Gorkhapatra Sansthan that has been saying that it would publish the oldest dailies in colour since long, has failed to publish TRN and Gorkhapatra in colour even in the present day of competition. Had they been published in colour like other national dailies, TRN and Gorkhapatra would surely be the most popular dailies. Doesnt the GS heve any plan to publish its dailies in colour? Shambhu Subedi Gorkhapatra and TRN will be published in full colour in the very near future. GS Management 25
Years Ago Kathmandu, April 22: His Majestys Government is to issue treasury bills of 100 million rupees on 25th April, reports RSS. Tailpiece A husband was advised by his psychiatrist to assert himself. "You dont have to let your wife henpeck you. Go home and show her youre the boss." The man was on fire with enthusiasm and couldnt wait to try the doctors advice! He rushed home, slammed the door, shook his fist in his wifes face, and growled, "From now on, youre taking orders from me. I want my supper right now, and when you get it on the table, go upstairs, and lay out my best clothes. Tonight, Im going out with the boys and youre going to stay home where you belong. And another thing...you know whos going to comb my hair, iron my pants, polish my shoes and tie my tie?" "I certainly do," said his wife calmly, "The undertaker." Thought For Today Democracy is on trial in the world, on a more collossal scale than ever before.
