Bringing Culprits To Book

It is a good news that the government is trying to regulate private and public schools thereby stopping them from commercialising educational institutes. What is experienced until now is that in the name of quality education, almost all the private schools and some public schools are taking hefty sum of money under different headings like infrastructure development, first aid, library and so on without providing such facilities to the students. It is obvious that the guardians always want to provide quality education to their wards and for that they make no compromise while paying the fees. But the school owners are cheating them without any hesitation. With the new laws in the offing much can be expected. But laws alone cannot do anything until and unless the authorities regularly inspect the educational institutions and bring the culprits to book.

The Late Letter Record

Kathmandu, April 23: Possibly a record has been established by a letter which covered a distance of 82 kilometers in 52 days. The letter urging a brother to come home immediately to meet his sister on death-bed was posted on March 1 at Pandhone post office of Bhojpur but that could reach to the addressee only after 52 long days, reports RSS.
