Gorkhapatra to organise inter-media soccer By A Staff Reporter Kathmandu, April 25: Five Kathmandu based braodsheet dailies and two electronic media will participate in a football tournament to be organised to mark the 102nd anniversary of the establishment of the Gorkhapatra. To be played on the knockout basis, the three-day tournament- Inter-Media Soccer Tournament-2059- will kick off on 1st May at the All Nepal Football Complex at Satdobato, Lalitpur. Radio Nepal, Nepal Television, Nepal Samacharpatra, Himalaya Times, Space Time , Rajdhani and Gorkhapatra dailies will take part in the tournament. According to the organisers, the Gorkhapatra Corporation Employees Association-2052, a five member organising committee has been formed to run the tournament successfully.
