Exciting Action

The recent action of the Commission for Investigation of the Abuse of Authority (CIAA) against the 22 corrupt employees in  Kathmandu came as a big surprise to many people who have never thought that the CIAA would take such a bold steps against the corrupted officials. At the same time, it was exciting for the honest employees and the common people to have heard that the corrupt, official have been nabbed. Indeed, corruption has been an Institutionalised practice in Nepal for decades. No government and organisation were able to control it and the genuine people were greatly disappointed with the increase of rampant corruption in the country. But with the latest step of CIAA the people are now hopeful that the CIAA will one day be able to free the country form the clutches of corruption. However, for this CIAA needs to continue its campaign both inside and outside the Valley so that all corrupt officials as well as the politicians will be brought to book. We hope CIAA will succeed to take action against all corrupt employees, politicians and the business people.
