Class in IT in Banke

NEPALGUNJ: A class in information technology started at Tribhuvan Secondary School in Kohalpur VDC, Banke district recently.

His Majesty's Government had made available l5 computers worth Rs 750,000 to the school through its Technical Education and Vocational Training Council for running the I.T. class.

The I.T. class is being run under HMG's policy of extending grant aid to three secondary schools in each development region for starting vocational classes.

Before this the council provided teaching material to Padmodaya Secondary School in Ghorahi, Dang district for starting a course in electrical work and to Gurans Secondary in Bardiya for agricultural training.

The council has so far made available teaching material and technical manpower to l5 secondary schools in the Kingdom under this programme.
