RPP teams call on Chand

KATHMANDU, Dec. 19: A delegation of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party from Bajhang district led by Deepak Bahadur Singh today called on Prime Minister Lokendra Bahadur Chand and presented an eleven-point demand concerning transport, communications, power supply, air services, unemployment and poverty alleviation.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Chand gave assurances that every effort would be made to resolve the problems, it is learnt from the Prime Minister's office.

Likewise, a delegation of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party from Banke district led by Prem Bahadur Chand today called on Prime Minister Chand and apprised him of the problems concerning development and construction work and law and order in the district.

The delegation demanded the taking of immediate steps for the construction of the Nepalgunj-Baghauda road and a bridge on the Rapti, supplying of power at all the VDCs of Constituency No. 1, ensuring law and order and resolving various other issues in the district.

The delegation comprised Chet Bahadur Thapa, Thakur Singh Tharu, Krishna Kharel, Narendra Paudel, Dolraj Khanal, Khem Raj Gautam, Bishnu Hari Regmi and Mahesh Khanal.
