Be Aware Of Pretentious Healers

Kathmandu is an interesting place. You take a round and you will find out for yourself the intriguing side of the story. It is quite surprising that people have absolute freedom to do as they please without anybody to question them about their weird activities. Had their doings been only weird then there was nothing to worry about, but to the dismay of many whatever they are up to could cost dearly on the health of the citizens. The people being referred to here are the self acclaimed healers who spread their so-called medicines in the sidewalk and go on reciting breathlessly about the magical effects of their medicines. Going by the rules one cannot sell medicines of any sort unless prescribed by a recognised medical practitioner. Looking at the way these quacks are enjoying the freedom of prescribing whatever they feel like to those searching for cheap treatment, it appears that the rules are meant to be there on paper only. Before people who are unaware about the reality, fall prey to the reckless deeds of such irresponsible healers, the government must stop them immediately.
