Remove The Polluting Vehicles

The government’s decision to ban the polluting three wheelers had been widely welcomed as they had been giving perpetual headaches to the city dwellers. After the three wheelers were gone for the good of everyday, there was ample reason to hope that the city environment would improved. But to the dismay of many, the change wasn’t quite visible with other equally polluting vehicles doing their rounds in the valley. The beautiful city of Kathmandu, is still reeling under poisonous emissions given out as a present by the old public buses. Everybody well knows that the buses that ply in the long distance routes are brought into the valley after they became awfully old. What comes as a big surprise to the denizens of the valley is how these rickety vehicles manage to pass the emission tests. The valley dwellers would be happy to see the replacement of these old buses with the new ones. Isn’t it high time that these worn out buses were asked to leave the capital once and for ever?
