Awareness Needed To Maintain Subway

It is indeed a wise idea to have subways in a city that is witnessing a rapid rise in the number of vehicles and the people alike. The subways, apart from facilitating the flow of people across the busy streets, also provide some change to those who have got themselves into a rut with the same kind of ambience everywhere they go. I have travelled to big cities abroad and it is quite amazing how they have managed to keep their subways so clean and bright. We here in Nepal do not have many subways apart from the one at Bhotahity. But the sorry part of the story is that the Subway is littered with filth and dirt everywhere. Anybody coming from abroad would have a poor impression on seeing that the only subway is so poorly managed. Do we need to hire a management expert to manage the subway or can it be done by out own people? Isn’t it time that we learnt to boost our image by at least maintaining high standard of sanitation in and around the subway.
