Nepal Baseball Champion Cup in Pokhara from Feb 28

Kathmandu, Feb 21: The first ever Nepal Baseball Champion cup Competition will be held in Pokhara from February 28 to March 2 this year, ESODEC press release stated.

The final game of the competition will take place on the playground of Amar Singh Higher Secondary School in Pokhara on March 2. Students from Amar Singh Higher Secondary School, Kalika Higher Secondary School and Siddha Secondary School will take part in the competition.

A total of 60 students of the schools have been undergoing a three-week baseball training programme now with the help of a visiting team of students from Poole Gakuin University of Osaka, Japan.

The winning team of the competition will be awarded with Nepal Baseball Champion Cup and a certificate. The competition has been organised by Educational and Social Development Centre Nepal (ESODEC), an NGO working for education and development of human being.
