Keep Up The Spirit

The authorities hastily started to give a beautiful look to the capital only after 11th summit of the South Asian Association for Regional Corporation was to be held here. The roads have been blacktopped and fence given a fresh coat of paint. Three years back they had started widening the roads and constructing gardens at various points as a preparation for the Summit then. As the Summit was postponed all of a sudden, the authorities also postponed the capital’s face-lifting campaign. Almost for three years they appeared nowhere. And this time the authorities have come up with a grand plan to beautify a least a portion of the City. It seems that there would never have been gardens at Tinkune and Maitighar had Nepal not organized the 11th SAARC Summit this time. Therefore, the authorities, if they want to preserve the beauty and cleanliness of the capital city, they should work with the same pace all the year round.
