Poudel opens Mahayagya in Parvat

Parvat, Dec. 31 (RSS): Sri Madbhagawat Dhanadhanyanchal Mahayagya was initiated here Sunday under the aegis of Gupteshwar Multiple Campus, Parvat.

Assistant Minister for Land Reforms and Management Dilli Raj Poudel, MP Arjun Prasad Joshi and Bishwa Hinhu Mahasangha Chairman Narayan Prasad Pokharel had jointly inaugurated the Mahayagya.

In his inaugural address, Assistant Minister Poudel said it is not only the duty of local administration to bring the destructive elements under control but also of the general public to extend cooperation from their respective quarters to the administration in its endeavour.

Members of the board of directors of the Bhimeshwar Narayan Guthi, which had donated land worth Rs. 1.051 million and a huge quantity of unhusked rice to the campus, had lit jointly oil-fed lamps at the beginning of the Mahayagya.

MP Joshi said such religious activity will held to discourage violence.

CDO Bal Krishna Panthi and DDC president Ganesh Timilsina also expressed their views.

Similarly in Baglung, Assistant Minister Poudel has said the government is determined to control terrorist activities.

Sharma, speaking at a party workers gathering in Baglung yesterday, spoke of the need to defeat those who oppose the present constitution.

He also gave assurances that utmost efforts will be made to help the people live in their own places peacefully.
