Combating Social Evils For Childrens Welfare Children are most precious resource and vulnerable citizens of the world. We should give them the opportunity to realise and enjoy their rights today so that they may grow up to become conscious citizens of tomorrow. Unfortunately, it is the matter of regret that the situation of the majority of Nepalese children presents a gloomy picture. Young girls are the most vulnerable group among them. Thats why a gender prospective is always necessary in dealing with childrens rights and child labour. The society has serious responsibility for the protection and promotion of girls rights. The present world has been engaged in combating terrorism. The time has come also to fight the social evils like violation of childrens right, girl trafficking, violence against women and children as well as all the worst forms of child labour. Such invisible, terrorism has attacked our values, equality, dignity and justice. Therefore, all the concerned individuals and organisations should join hands for the welfare of the children who are vulnerable to all sorts of social evils. Ashok Dahal Other Story |
