HM's China visit to include FNCCI team Kathmandu, 8 July: Their Majesties the King and Queen have included a 10-member delegation of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), among them its President Rabi Bhakta Shrestha, during Their Majesties' first state visit to China beginning tomorrow. FNCCI president Shrestha, speaking at a press conference
organised today with the objective of informing the public about the efforts to be made on
behalf of the private sector in expanding economic relations and promoting cooperation and
investment during the state visit, expressed the view that important achievements will be
made in the industrial, trade and tourism sectors during the visit. FNCCI second vice president and spokesman Rajendra Kumar Khetan said an important achievement was made in the expansion of economic relations between Nepal and India during the recent state visit by His Majesty to India and similar success is expected from the visit to China. According to FNCCI, the businessmen delegation will include Federation ex-president and distinguished member Ananda Raj Mulmi, first vice president Binod Bahadur Shrestha, Coordinator of the Nepal-China Non-Governmental Cooperation Forum Chandi Raj Dhakal, Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) President Rajesh Kaji Shrestha, Nepal Electricity Producers' Association President Kush Kumar Joshi, Central Carpet Industry Association President A. G. Sherpa, Nepal Association of Travel Agents (NATA) President Jaya Dewan, Nepal Foreign Trade Association President Ashok Kumar Agrawal and FNCCI General Secretary Badri Prasad Ojha. |
