It is about a news report entitled Defaulters of property details to be penalised published in your daily on June 8. The news has it that the high level property judicial investigation commission (PJIC) would make public the names of those who refuse to take forms or submit them to the PJIC in time and would also take legal action against such persons. As the government officials we have also received the forms. We have no intention of not cooperating the commission. We welcome the move initiated by the government in this regard. But the, problem with some of the civil servants is that in one hand they are not allowed to take a leave that accedes five days and on the other hand they need to go to their homes to take the documents of land property which takes not less than a week. How can those civil servants fill up the forms and submit them in time when they are not allowed to take at least ten days leave? We request the concerned authorities to either extend the minimum leave days or the time for submitting the property evaluation forms. Name withheld on
