Develop Alternative Road

The Krishnavir landslide along the Prithvi Highway often causes havoc to the bus passengers. The problem has been there for the last three years. Yet the authorities have failed stop it on the busiest route of the country. I do not understand why the authorities do nothing during the dry season to control it. Now the monsoon is approaching soon and I am sure the landslide will again damage the road thereby halting the smooth traffic flow along the roads for weeks. Prevention is better than cure. Thus, the authorities need to apply preventive measures to control such landslide so that the passengers will not have to strand on the either side of Krishnavir during rainy days. And if possible, an alternative route should be constructed so that the buses can ply along it when there occurs a landslide at Krishnavir. Even the Tribhuvan Highway will work as an alternative route to link Kathmandu with the Terai if it is widened and maintained properly.
