Visa Denied

This is my inner dissatisfaction with the consular section of U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu for their visa application procedures, evaluation and Interviewing system. I am owner of a travel agent and running business for more than 8 years in Kathmandu. I applied for USA visa on June 7, 2002 and my interview was on June 12, 2002. But unfortunately, the consular did not give me a visa, though I had submitted him all evidence that proof me a travel agent and have business link in the US. Althouth my company is not a large organisation, but my business is comfortable and safe even at this moment of economic crisis in Nepal. I have many good friends and know a travel agent in U.S.A. who deals with us to send their clients to Nepal and Tibet. Therefore, I was interested to visit the U.S. for my business promotion at this time of low tourist season as I have free time.

I have no complain about US Government’s rules and regulation, but I want to express my strong dissatisfaction with the US consular section’s visa application procedures and evaluation system in Kathmandu that created cancellation of my planned trip and I missed an opportunity to promote my business in the USA. Therefore, I would like to bring concerned authority’s eye this note and I want other Nepalese friends, who have business and genuine reason to visit USA should not be dissatisfied any more.
