Regulate Private Schools

The SLC results this time were nil not only the in the public schools but also in some of the mushrooming private boarding schools. Take for example of Rupandehi district. Out of the boarding schools that had sent their class 10 students for SLC examinations, three did not find any of their students passing the SLC examinations. The schools have zero per cent SLC results. In the name of quality education, the private schools have been charging high tuition fees. However, the recent SLC results have indicated that their educational performances are not as they should be. This shows that all private schools are not ‘quality education oriented institutions’ but are ‘commercial’ as said by many. As such it is highly essential to regulate such private schools which have opened merely for commercial gains.
