Make security agencies more effective: Tarun Dal Butwal, Mar. 24 (RSS): A national gathering of Nepal Tarun Dal town officials which concluded here today underlined the need of ending the actions being taken by security agencies within the Constitutional framework to end murder, violence and terror. The gathering also called on the government to make more effective all agencies mobilised against terrorism and on all political forces, the civil society and social organisations to cooperate with the government for this. The gathering also drew the governments attention to the need of making available assistance to the victims of terrorism and demanded the government should make the needful arrangement for security and transport for SLC exams. The concept of broader democratic alliance floated by NC president Girija Prasad Koirala was also welcomed on the occasion. The gathering also urged the political parties, parliament and the government to come up with concrete decisions on constitution amendment by taking the issue among the people since it is a very sensitive issue. The gathering welcomed the Judicial Commission formed to look into properties and spoke of the need to bring into net of inquiry high ranking officials of the Royal Nepal Army and Nepal Police. Stating that it is a welcome thing that the National Womens Commission and the National Dalit Commission have been passed through parliament, the gathering laid stress on the need of effective implementation to ensure womens participation in political and social fields.
