German govt provides relief items to NRCS

KATHMANDU, Oct. 9: The German government, through the German Red Cross, has provided relief packages worth Rs.11 million for the flood and landslide victims. German Ambassador to Nepal Rudiger Lemp handed over the 4,400 relief packages to Chairman of the Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) Ramesh Kumar Sharma today.

Handing over the materials, the German ambassador said that the relief materials were the symbol of the solidarity of the German people, its government and the German Red Cross with the flood and landslide victims in Nepal and South Asia.

Chairman of the NRCS Sharma thanked the German government and the Red Cross for the relief aid.
