Their Majesties receive Tika, Prasad KATHMANDU, Oct. l7: His Majesty King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev and Her Majesty Queen Komal Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah received the Prasad, Tika and Jamara of Navadurga Bhawani from Badagurujyu Keshari Raj Pandey amid the chanting of Vedic hymns at the auspicious hour of ll.0l am Tuesday at a function held at Narayanhity Royal Palace on the occasion of Bijaya Dashami.On the occasion, a 3l gun salute was presented.At the same function, His Majesty the King gave Tika and Jamara to Her Majesty the Queen. At the start of the function, His Majesty was sprinkled with holy water from a sacred jar of the Dasainghar of Hanumandhoka by the Badaguruju and Moolpurohit amid the chanting of vedic hymns for His Majesty's good health, happiness and prosperity.
