The verbal war, a characteristics of politics, has also infested the country's leading ailing sporting sectors. The president of Cricket Association of Nepal and the member secretary of the National Sports Council are blaming each other for trying to deflect a cricket academy proposed to be constructed in Nepal. NSC Member secretary accuses the CAN president of ruining the project that aims to construct the academy in Pokhara whereas the CAN president assails the secretary for trying to take the project to his hometown, where cricket is not played much. If the chiefs of the responsible sports authorities , instead of persuading the international cricket body to construct such an academy in Nepal, continue to use their diatribe against each other, they will certainly be held responsible, in case Nepal loses the opportunity this time.
