The monarchy is the centre of the hope, belief and trust of the Nepalese, it is the Crown that has given Nepal and the Nepalese their distinct identity in the world, the high standing of the Crown has secured our territorial integrity, it points out, adding that monarchy is protector of the nation and symbol of national unity. This was so yesterday, is so today and will remain so tomorrow.

As with other sectors in national life, the King and Crown are the source of inspiration for us people in industry, and the inclusion of industrialists, businessmen and entrepreneurs in the state visits paid by His Majesty to India and China have brought great honour to the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Industry and Commerce, it is further stated.

We industrialists are well aware of Your Majesty's concern for the prosperity of Nepal and the Nepalese people, the letter of felicitations states.

Your Majesty's wish to see democracy consolidated in Nepal under the protection of the institution of the Crown, peace reigning in Nepal and Nepal becoming a prosperous country has been manifest everywhere during the course of Your Majesty's visits to different parts of the country, it is stated in the letter of felicitations.

The letter further reads- the FNCCI considers as an inspiring exhortation the statement "we should make the market-oriented economy, good governance, transparency and the rule of law free from corruption the national agenda" made by His Majesty while addressing separate programmes held by the people of the Eastern and Far Western Development Regions.

We recall the enlightened leadership of Your Majesty in the peaceful conditions now prevailing in the country following the cease-fire with the Maoists on Jan 29 when Your Majesty took the Royal step for the welfare of the countrymen, the letter of felicitations adds.

The peaceful conditions now prevailing give us the feeling that Lord Buddha, the apostle of peace and non-violence, has been born again in Nepal, it is stated.

The investment made and role played by the private sector in industry and commerce since peace was restored in the country as a result of the cease-fire have been encouraging, it states.

We the Nepali people are confident that as constitutional patron of the country and the people Your Majesty will protect and relieve us all for the sake of law and order, welfare and economic development by preserving democracy, it is also stated.

While the strong assurances for restoration of peace and the assistance forthcoming from friendly countries for reconstruction of infrastructure have been praiseworthy and the efforts of His Majesty's Government have been laudable, the Nepali people will find salvation only through the Nepalese themselves, it is further stated.
