Chaudhari for policies on education

RSS

NAWALPARASI, Apr. 18: Chairman of the Raj Parishad Standing Committee Parasu Narayan Chaudhari has said that the government should formulate appropriate policies for the development of the education sector.

The Raj Parishad Standing Committee Chairman made this remark while inaugurating the anniversary function of the Tribhuvan Higher Secondary School Beltari today.

Leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Rabindra Nath Sharma said that it was improper on the part of the political parties to feign ignorance when the Government-Maoist talks have come to the final stages.

He said in the present context the demand of a Constituent Assembly was a means and not an end.
Former minister and leader of the Nepal Sadbhavana Party Hridayesh Tripathi said that all should pray for durable peace when the peace talks process is underway.

Former minister of state Niranjan Thapa said peace, not Constituent Assembly, is the aspiration of the Nepalese people.

Central member of the RPP and former Inspector General of Police Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan said the peace talks would be written in golden letters in the annals of the country.

At the golden jubilee function presided over by chairman of the school management committee Kedar Nath Pandey, chairman Chaudhari presented the long service medals to six teachers and the special service medals to nine persons.

On the occasion, he also felicitated 28 individuals providing assistance to the school in various ways.
