PCO Monopoly

Reports of a hike in the local calls come as a shock to the people, particularly when the local PCO partice monopoly, The hike should be considered from various angles.

The price of  a local call has considerably increased as the local PCO owners have been taking advantage of the latest price hike to make quick money. They charge two-calls' fare for two minutes of talking. Our complaints regarding the Public Call Office have often been ignored. This monopoly in local calls has become a headache for those who have no telephones at home. They are compelled to make regular calls from the PCO. I request the concerned authority to intervene and save the people from the PCO owners' monopoly.
