RSS KATHMANDU, Jan. 8: His Majesty the King, in accordance with the Constitution of the Kingdom of Nepal 1990, has designated the seniormost justice Govind Bahadur Shrestha as the acting Chief Justice of the Supreme Court until the Chief Justice Kedar Nath Upadhyaya, who has departed to Sri Lankan capital Colombo today to attend the third meeting of the Chief Justices of the judicial group, resumes his duties.
